Family Adventure Holidays - Perthshire
This fantastic family adventure holiday is based in Perthshire, Scotland’s Adventure Capital. Your fun and exciting break will allow you to try many activities, such as guided walks, “open boat” or “Canadian” canoeing, rock-climbing and mountain biking. A highlight is the BBQ and campfire on a small wooded island on the nearby loch having paddled there in canoes - a real adventure!
Your guide is one of the best in Scotland so you can be sure that safety is a priority at all times - but you will also still feel like you are having an adventure! Your base is a comfortable guest house in the village of Aberfeldy, an attractive village located just 10 miles from the A9 (the main road north to Inverness) making it easily accessible from the south. As well as guided activities, you will also have the opportunity to spend some quality time together as a family, creating long-lasting happy memories.
Perthshire is a wonderful area to enjoy a family adventure holiday in Scotland. It is easily accessible from the south, boasts beautiful scenery and offers a range of activities many other areas can only dream of. Option A: 6-night Family Adventure Holiday
Day 1 – Travel to Perthshire. Settle into Guest House / Small Hotel
Day 2 – Day of guided mountain biking
Day 3 – Day of guided canoeing on Loch Tay. Island BBQ and camp fire
Day 4 – Day of guided canoeing on the River Tay
Day 5 – Free day to explore the local area, perhaps visit historic Blair Castle
Day 6 – Guided rock climbing and abseiling
Day 7 – Guided walk in the morning, before departing after lunch
Small Hotel option:
Cost: £729 per adult and £529 per child, based on a family of four sharing a family room. If you prefer a separate twin room for your children, there is a supplement of £200 per child.
Guest House option:
Cost: £649 per adult and £449 per child, based on a family of four sharing a family room. If you prefer a separate twin room for your children, there is a supplement of £95 per child.
Option B: 5-night Family Adventure Holiday
