TRIP REVIEWS

A wonderful time in some of the most beautiful surroundings I've ever been to. A trip I'll not forget.  There was always lashings of good quality food and plenty of room in the tents.  The guides were very patient,  informative and knowledgeable about the local history/flora/fauna/tides. They were good company and supportive but you never felt you were just being led by the nose - you were involved in deciding the next moves for the group.

A big part of deciding to go with Wilderness Scotland was its ethos of sustainability and minimum-impact. I've found on my 3 trips so far that it is absolutely an integral part of the company and I have been impressed with the level of commitment to these ideals  - for instance, we brought back all waste packaging, food, etc in compostable bags, in our kayaks. Great to see a company 'walk the walk' to such an extent.

I really enjoyed the sea kayaking, including the physical challenge of strong winds and open seas, and I was blown away by the scenery, which was even more stunning than I expected.

The sea kayaking was wild and spectacular through a unique part of the world. The guide was a very knowledgeable sea kayaker and teacher. He did an exceptional job of judging and balancing the various skill levels of the group in route planning. He picked some outstanding routes always with consensus of the entire group and was flexible regarding our itinerary.
