HOW TO BOOK
Our Booking Procedure
We accept bookings online, by telephone, fax and post. Booking online is straightforward and enables us to confirm your reservation immediately.
Please note that online booking is possible for all of our trips that have fixed dates. If you would like to book a self-guided or tailor-made trip, we recommend contacting us by telephone and we can take you through your preferred itinerary and the booking process.
Prior to booking, it is important that you read the relevant Trip Dossier and our Booking Terms and Conditions. This information will ensure that you choose the most appropriate trip. In the case of a tailor-made trip, we recommend that you carefully review the personalised itinerary provided to you. If you have any doubts regarding your suitability for a trip, please contact our office.
To book online, simply select the "Book Now" tab from the relevant trip page on our website. You will then be asked to complete the online booking form and proceed to payment. All payments made are completely secure and processed by Protx using 128-bit SSL encrypted technology.
For online bookings we accept payment by Maestro, Visa Electron, Visa Debit and Solo debit cards or Visa/Mastercard credit cards. Please note that there is no charge for payment by UK debit card but a 2.0% surcharge for payment by all credit cards and non-UK debit cards. A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking unless you are booking less than 56 days before departure. In this case, full payment of the trip price is required.
Should you prefer, you may telephone with your reservation and card payment. This will enable us to confirm your place although, in all cases, we require a completed booking form (either online or by post/fax) with details of all persons travelling. If booking by post, we accept all of the above payment methods plus cheque or bank transfer.
Confirmation of your Booking - If booking online, your place is secured immediately and you will be sent a trip dossier and balance invoice by email. However, please do not book travel until one of our team contacts you - this will happen within 72 hours. If booking by any other method, we will confirm your booking within 7 days of receipt.
It is a condition of booking that you are insured against medical and personal accident risks. This must include cover for the activities to be undertaken during the trip. We also recommend that you take out insurance which includes cancellation and baggage cover.
We work with Campbell Irvine insurance whose policies are specially designed for adventure holidays. This insurance can be arranged directly with Campbell Irvine by telephone, email, post or online and we will send details along with your booking confirmation.
Campbell Irvine cannot provide travel insurance for non-EU residents, so if you reside outside the EU and need advice please call us for more details of alternative insurance providers.
Please note that if you arrange a different insurance policy, you must bring proof of your insurance policy with you on holiday i.e. your insurance certificate or a copy.
