Through ancient Caledonian pine forests in the shadow of some of Scotland’s highest mountains, this guided mountain bike adventure offers world-class riding in the heart of Speyside, Scotland’s whisky-making country. Gather your friends for a memorable private group trip, which explores little known threads of singletrack, speeding through the forests and glens of the Cairngorms National Park.

This private group itinerary can be tailored for novice, intermediate or expert mountain bikers as there is a huge variety of routes in this area. The thrilling days out riding are perfectly complemented by charming and bike-friendly guest house accommodation in a local Speyside village. And as well as the singletrack, there will also be the opportunity to sample some single malts while you are visiting Scotland's whisky country!

Mountain Biking in Speyside - Sample Itinerary

Day One – You will meet your guide in the morning and, after a picnic lunch in Feshiebridge, head up the beautiful River Feshie for an afternoon mountain biking on the singletrack trails and forest roads of Inshriach Forest.

Day Two – Climbing over the shoulder of the Cairngorms National Park at Ryvoan, we can traverse along heather-fringed single track before a sensational descent through the old-growth Caledonian pines of Abernethy to Loch Garten.

Day Three – Through the birch and aspen woodlands that flank the River Avon, and along the ancient whisky smuggling trails of Glenlivet, we enjoy some thrilling singletrack riding around the remote slopes and deserted bothies of Glen Brown.

Day Four – Starting in Feshiebridge we head east along singletrack trails and forest roads to the beautiful Loch an Eilein with its ancient island castle, then on through the pine forests of Rothiemurchus to Inverdruie. A classic mountain bike route to finish this short break.
