What our clients say...

In 2007, we introduced over 1200 clients from 25 different countries to the wonders of the Scottish Highlands. Our clients are aged old and young – and enjoyed a huge range of wilderness experiences from gentle breaks to full-on wild adventures! Here is a selection of what they have to say about us ...

Fantastic scenery, great riding and variable routes. Choice of route was spot-on. Back-up transport was invaluable and completely reliable. Accommodation was without fault and food provided was simply amazing. Our guide was amazing. Riding every day with us and being able to keep us motivated and going as well as sorting out bike storage, repairs, shopping and route planning. I don't know how he managed it.
D James, Germany, Mountain Biking - Coast to Coast

I've biked all across the globe and have been amazed by what we've found up here. The riding was just out of this world - probably the best I have ever experienced anywhere. I'll definitely be back riding with you guys at some point.
A Hall, Canada, Mountain Biking - Skye and the Outer Hebrides, Riding on the Edge

Great trip, excellent accommodation, great guide.
M Klever, Scotland, Wilderness Walking - Outer Hebrides and Skye

I saw far more than I had expected, and each day was interesting and new. Night after night our hosts outdid themselves to make the experience wonderful. The guide was excellent - knowledgeable, patient and fun. I couldn't have hoped for any better - my holiday far exceeded my expectations.
J Foster, Canada, Wilderness Walking - The Knoydart Peninsula

The holiday exceeded expectations. The days were full and varied - there was a good mix between walking, wildlife viewing, travelling and visiting archeological sites. The coastal scenery was stunning with the homely and relaxing hotel in an idyllic and quiet location with great views over the bay. The food was excellent. Our guide's knowledge of the birds, wildlife and flora was invaluable in the enjoyment of the trip. This gave an additional perspective so that the wildlife and landscape could be fully appreciated.
A Robertson, England, Wilderness Walking - The Orkney Isles

Wow, what a way to explore Knoydart! The term "expedition" describes this trip exactly: wild camping, carrying all our food and equipment in our rucksacks, and lots of hard-core trekking. I enjoyed the trip immensely and was blown away by the majestic splendour of the Knoydart landscape. My favourite part was the walk up the Barrisdale Pass - the wind when we got to the top of the pass definitely blew away the cobwebs!
W Franklin, USA, Hiking Expedition - The Knoydart Peninsula

I had a clear objective to learn winter skills in order to become more confident. I'm happy to say that this objective has been entirely met. This experience really could not have been better! Accommodation was superb. Friendly staff, excellent food and fine ale! This, together with excellent company from other participants in the experience, has really left me with some lasting memories that I will cherish.
C Lennon , England, Winter Walking - The Cairngorms and Creag Meagaidh

What a great trip! I learned a lot and can't wait to do more ski mountaineering. Comfortable accommodation, welcoming staff and good food. The trip was well-organised and the guide was so knowledgeable.
W Hall, Ireland, Ski Touring - Introductory Course

Despite some changeable weather we had some great experiences. The guide was great and was able to judge well the length of time we were paddling for each day. The scenery in the Outer Hebrides is just breathtaking, and kayaking allowed us access to areas we would not have been able to reach otherwise.
L Carlton, England, Sea-Kayaking - The Outer Hebrides

It was a wonderful experience and gave more than I had expected. The sailing boat and the sailing were tremendous for a pure novice. The wildlife was a bonus that I had not really thought of. The walking on the Islands was very good. The "Eda Frandsen" her crew and food they prepared were well above what one would expect of such a trip.
D Sutherland, England, Sailing and Walking - Knoydart, Skye and the Small Isles

I loved it and started planning the next trip as soon as I got home. It was a wonderful, beautiful, remote location I had never been to before and a wonderful way to get around. Although I suspect we did what was planned for us, we felt like explorers!
C Blackstock, Scotland, Canoeing and Hiking - West Highlands - Summit to Sea

We had an amazing trip. The boat was beautiful and modern, and the skipper was very friendly and helpful. It was great being able to explore this stunning part of Scotland by boat - we felt an enormous sense of freedom. I would not hesitate to recommend a private charter to others.
G Riordean, Ireland, Sailing - Private Yacht Charters

Very appropriate for a wilderness area, food especially good and the Knoydart community absolutely delightful. Colin is an inspirational photographer and was well stocked with indoor tutorials for poor weather. I would book again
