Open Canoeing Holidays, Courses and Expeditions in Scotland

Our open canoeing holidays are a superb way to discover and explore the wilderness regions of Scotland. Canoes are a great way to travel in the wilderness as they are fairly easy to handle and can carry all of your kit - which is a lot less demanding than carrying it on your back!

Our canoe trips are mostly wilderness expeditions involving wild camping in remote locations.

The 'Summit to Sea' and 'Lochs and Mountains' trips both combine canoeing and walking to explore wild regions of Scotland. Their grades reflect the two activities and the fact that some portages are involved.

Contrastingly, the 'Great Glen' and 'River Spey Descent' trips are less of a wilderness experience but involve a rewarding point to point journey over several days. Canoeing is a wonderful past-time, and our range of trips offer something for every taste and ability.
