"I would definitely recommend this trip to my friends. It was one of the most beautiful trips of our lives. It was a bit hard going in the beginning (from Drymen to Inverarnan) the days were very long. I would recommend to people to do the extra day. But would suggest to take that extra day between those two cities. That is definitely the hardest part of the trail. After that the days were amazing. Despite the long distances, the path was easy going and our days were rather short and we would get to our accommodations with enough time to rest, enjoy a few hours of the afternoon before supper. We loved having half a day in crianlarich and having an afternoon in Oban. That was completely unplanned and it felt wonderful to have a few hours visiting a city in the middle of a week of wilderness. We met some interesting people on the trail and it was nice to finish at Fort William with everyone meeting for supper at the Grog and Gruel. Mostly I loved walking in all that beautiful wilderness. Even though it rained all week, we were so happy to be there (there's no such thing as bad weather just inappropriate clothing.) It was an amazing experience and thank you for all your help in making it happen."
