    Logistics Coordinator

    Our operations team needs you

    The Logistics Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the company, leading on the day to day kit maintenance, organisation and preparation to ensure each of our departures has all relevant, fully functional equipment across a wide range of activities.

    In Brief:

    • Role – Logistics Coordinator
    • Location – Aviemore
    • Type – Permanent, Full-Time
    • Office Time – 95% In the field – 5%
    • Salary – £21,250-£25,000 per annum dependent on experience

    We’re looking for someone who

    • Has experience of working with outdoor kit in a stores / warehouse environment
    • Is a fixer, likes to be hands on and is happy working in an active role
    • Is proactive, can manage multiple tasks and has an eye for detail
    • Has experience of the activities we offer although no need to be highly skilled in these activities, we’ll leave that to our guides
    • Is committed to sustainability and is an advocate for wild places and our planet

    Your responsibilities will primarily include

    • Maintenance of all outdoor equipment and vehicles
    • Organising stores, ensuring everything has it’s place
    • Personal Proactive Equipment (PPE) checks and record keeping in line with UK legislation
    • Preparing equipment and supplies for all activity trips including walking, road cycling, mountain biking, open canoeing, sea kayaking and expeditions.
    • Ordering and preparing food for our expedition programmes sourced either from in-house supplies or local food/drink suppliers.
    • Hand-over of equipment, food and other trip resources to Wilderness Scotland Guides at start of trips and supporting them with end of trip returns.
    • Support and maintenance of all equipment and repairs as required during the season.
    • Delivery of guide training through in person and online video content
