Mini Bio

I hail from New Zealand where I met my Scottish wife. We moved to Scotland in 2010, got married and started a family.

I’ve always worked in tourism and the outdoors; in my first role I was a commercial jet boat driver in Queenstown and Taupo.

I’ve always enjoyed mountain biking and have a love of flora and fauna and a growing interest in history and geology. If I’m not out enjoying one of the many trails in my local area I like to be skiing, golfing or even a spot of fishing and I seem to think I have half a clue about single malt whisky and craft/real ale, that must be once I’ve had a couple!

Can juggle 3 apples. When a dog drinks it makes it’s tongue into a scoop to get the maximum amount of water it can, fascinating!
