Chris Knight

Chris was an outstanding leader. He was familiar with the geography, history, flora/fauna, etc. of the trails and taught us a lot about Cornwall. He adapted quickly and seamlessly to changing conditions! We all appreciated his skillful management of the trip.

I’ve never done one of these tours before but I think Chris was everything a guide should be. He was funny, intelligent and so nice.. our entire group loved him.

Our guide was truly outstanding. He was friendly and had a great sense of humor. He made a point to get to know everyone in the group. He was very knowledgeable about Cornwall history, wildlife, geography, and points of interest. He was extremely patient with varying ability levels and experience as we hiked. He added so much to the trip.

Chris is a brilliant guide. He had clearly spent considerable time reading up on Shetland and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with us. His local knowledge also enabled him to schedule (and reschedule) the walks to suit the weather, our collective abilities and our individual interests.
His enthusiasm was obvious and he was also very conscientious, checking up on trips, timings, etc to ensure that each day ran smoothly.
He was also very open to suggestions and stopped off a cottage where a lady made and sold knitted Shetland jumpers and other items. I am now the proud possessor of a beautiful wool and silk scarf with a border of sheep at each end !

Both Chris and Tony were great. Very patient, flexible and prepared to accommodate the group's individual preferences where appropriate.

The guides did everything possible to make the trip a great success for everyone regardless of ability or interest. In spite of being a very mixed group of age and ability, we had lots of fun and we were a very happy band. I think I have already mentioned how well activities were cleverly amended when circumstances required.
