Place to Play – As I live in Kendal in the south of the Lake District, I spend a lot of my time out in the local hills. It’s a beautiful and varied area and there always seems to be somewhere new to explore! I also make frequent trips to Scotland and North Wales, and also to the Alps when holidays and funds allow.
Not a lot of people know this – I used to produce electronic music for as a hobby. I have a full, un-published album of mediocre quality which no one has ever heard of or listens to!
Mini Bio – As I was born in Cambridgeshire, one of the flatest counties in the UK, I’m very grateful to now live within spitting distance of the Lake District mountains! I first got into outdoor activities when I was at secondary school, and I’ve been pursuing adventures and outdoor fun ever since. In my twenties I lived in numerous locations in the UK, and also briefly abroad, trying lots of different jobs. However, I’m now settled in Kendal, where I also work for a small architecture firm for most of the year. When I’m not in the office or working on trips, I like to get out rock climbing, paragliding, fell running (hill/mountain running) or biking whenever possible.
