Jenny-GrahamMe in 3 – Driven | Outgoing | Wanderer

Places to Play – Mhmmm picking a favourite is hard, it’s often the next place I visit! I do have a soft spot for the Torridon area though. The rugged mountains have been home to many an adventure for me over the years. I have another connection to this area through the Mountain Rescue Team, which I have been part of since 2014.

Not a lot of people know this – Betty Boop starred in Popeyes first ever cartoon! I worked in a Dutch bacon factory. We have two tortoises ‘Adam & Cecil’ who are very cute and surprisingly cuddly!

Mini Bio – I am passionate about wild, mountainous environments. I am inspired to spend a great deal of my personal time exploring and having adventures both on my own and with friends. I’ve had a wonderfully varied life before beginning to build my career in the outdoors 12 years ago. I had my family young which meant holidays and weekends were spent exploring the highlands by canoe, foot and bike.

I’ve been adventuring in many mountain ranges throughout the world. The Carpathians of Romania are a particular favourite, meeting some of the kindest & friendlies people on the planet whilst I was there.

I’m a mildly obsessed bike packer, loving nothing more than having the freedom of living on my bike for weeks at a time.

As well as big epic trips my love for the hills often finds me on micro adventures, seeking out the best wild camp spots for a night under the stars.

This year I’m just about to embark on an extra stupid mountain bike challenge . The Highland Trail 550. Its worth a look!

Adventurer's Stories about Jenny

Wonderful. Engaging and supportive. Huge amount of knowledge and info about the islands and many treats along the way. Looked after us really carefully and made sure no one lagged or got into any trouble. Lovely to spend time with real enthusiasts.

Jenny and Cube were great leaders and companions, extremely well organised and knowledgeable, technically skilled and able to arrange a fabulous feast in he most remote areas. No weaknesses at all.

Jenny and Cube both very experienced and excellent

Jim Hertel
Friendly, informal, flexible and professional.
Jonathan Shortt
Guides were knowledge of the areas visited. Were helpful when issues arose around our bikes. It was clear they were passionate about their jobs and wanted us to get the best out of our trip.
Fiona Robinson
Jenny and Lucy were great. Knowledgeable, helpful, upbeat, observant, and good communicators. Patient when they needed to be and able to adjust to changing conditions and varied client needs.
Tjalling Ypma
We had two guides.
jenny was top guide and cyclist and Lucy was van driver, food preparer and general fixer.
Both Jenny and Lucy were absolutely fab. They were always ahead of the game. If there were any problems they found a solution (I had left my rain jacket behind in Inverness and that got sorted, bikes got fixed or swapped around to accommodate the group, large cases got transported in a different van). When there was a disappointing moment when our rib had to be cancelled due to high winds and this meant a day's cycling had to be changed, they explained clearly what was going on, came up with alternatives and we all had a great day regardless.
Jenny had to cope with a mixed ability group which included some fantastic bikers and some like me who were slower and less confident. She handled this beautifully, keeping the group gelling, letting some of the group have their head as necessary, encouraging me when I was feeling nervous, teaching new skills and staying cheerful throughout. She was always coming up with ideas as to routes and finding alternatives when things had to change. She could be firm when necessary without making anyone feel bad. Her people skills are amazing!
Lucy is also a gem. Consistently cheerful, working incredibly hard, delivering luggage, fetching and carrying, popping up whenever she was needed and fixing the most wonderful picnics often in dire conditions.
I think both deserve gold stars.
I would love to come on another trip with them as guides. They are a great team and I loved the way they talked each day through, checked out how we were all feeling. And we had a lot of laughs.

Jenny: enthusiastic, technically skilled, serving, never a questionable moment in leading a pretty diverse (in performance) team.
Lucy: excellent service. clever (good spots for lunch, great set up).
Both ladies had very pleasant personalities and performed as a well balanced and experienced team (although they had never worked together on a trip!).
Jan Bovelander
I wish I had half Jenny's enthusiasm and energy! Knowledgeable, always positive, supportive and encouraging when necessary, she did a brilliant job of arranging the itinerary to ensure that we all enjoyed the trip - a good balance of appropriately-challenging hills, lower level walks on days when the weather wasn't quite so good, local places of interest and even a bit of retail therapy!
Tamasin Dale
both guides that i had were excellent, friendly and obviously passionate about their work and showing visitors the countryside. their knowledge of the flora and fauna was exemplary and being able to arrange alternative routes due to weather conditions etc was great - my hat goes off to Kirsty and Jenny - thoroughly recommend both to anyone taking trips in the future.
Clare Matchett
Jenny was amazing! Couldn't have been better, it is mostly because of her that we had such a great trip
Julia Lenz
very nice people (Jenny and Kelty)
Thomas Perneger
Jenny & Kelty were perfect 'hosts' and could not have done more to ensure everyone was happy - a big thank you for making a great trip perfect.
Caroline Burton
Jenny was very enthusiastic making it fun even in the driving wind and rain. She was also great at making sure no one was left behind and fixing problems with the bikes when they occurred. Kelty was excellent at setting up in the perfect places and having everything ready when we got there. Both guides were grind and approachable.
Karen McQuarrie
Our guide was the greatest. There was always an option if the weather was not so perfect for the original plan.
Osmo Saari
As I said before, the guides were EXCELLENT. Fun, knowledgeable, and skilled at keeping a good group dynamic.
Patricia Hudelson Perneger
Jenny was great and very helpful. She watched the weather and planned things accordingly.
