Mini Bio
I grew up in London but spent childhood summers running barefoot at summer camps in the Tennessee woods, where my father had grown up. After school I embarked on a childhood dream of backpacking around South America, where I encountered many amazing people and adventures. Upon my return, I moved to Glasgow to study History, and promptly joined the Glasgow University Mountaineering Club. This initiated a lasting love affair with the Scottish Highlands.
After another stint travelling in the Americas and working various jobs, I decided to knuckle down, complete my Mountain Leader Award, and pursue a career working outdoors in the Scottish Highlands – which I’ve been doing since 2017.

Walking anywhere in the Scottish Highlands – I love any excuse to wander in high places.

My favourite Scottish word is Stravaigin – it means: ‘To wander aimlessly with intent’. A perfect word for those that love to walk in the highlands.
