    Paul Kelly

    Mini Bio:

I’ve been an experienced guide having been involved in outdoor management, personal development and adventure travel for over 20 years.

I’m a qualified mountain leader, paddle sports coach and mountain bike leader, and I’ve even been known to do a spot of sailing and white water raft guiding.

After a period of university lecturing, I made the decision that I needed a change in direction and now spend my time between guiding expeditions, business training for companies, facilitating life coaching and motivational speaking. I’ve led groups all over the UK as well as across Europe, Canada and South America.

I’m based in the Highlands of Scotland but I love revisiting Northern England, especially the Lake District as I’ve lived there for many years.

    Adventurer's Stories about Paul

Paul Kelly made our holiday a great experience. His knowledge of the rivers and water levels made the canoeing really interesting and enjoyable.

Paul Kelly was excellent. He was engaging, patient and provided just the right amount of tuition to ensure we got onto the water early but safely. I enjoyed his company and his ability to inspire confidence.

Paul's experience, good humour, organisation and attention to ensuring we had a good holiday couldn't have been better. He worked hard in a windy week, happily driving long distances to take us to locations where we could enjoy ourselves. His local knowledge of history, wildlife and life experiences added greatly to the week.

They really made the trip. (See comment about rain gear). Thankfully they had a sense of humor too! We felt that we were in good hands and they definitely were careful about insuring our safety. We learned a lot about Scotland and can't wait to come back and learn more. And our sincere apologies for the size of one of our pieces of luggage, hopefully no enduring back pain for them.

Where to start? Best ever, the true 'Face of Wilderness Scotland': Paul and Kelty were a "killer team" always working ahead of us and perfectly prepared for each day to include all the little details, logistics and timing. We truly appreciated the fun and energy they brought to the entire trip.
