 Client Kudos

Every client receives a feedback survey when they return from their guided, self guided or tailor made holiday with us.

Once completed the review is published on our website just as soon as our database updates. The little touches and details are important to us and where issues are raised we make positive changes to our trips to improve your experience.

That’s why we read each of our client’s reviews and although we don’t respond to all of them, if it’s glowing feedback then we get the satisfaction of helping to make your holidays truly memorable.

I think the walks could be longer. I think it was around 2-3 hours on average but would have liked to have walks 4-5 hours on average. I really enjoyed the long days :)

I thought Jude was brilliant, but I think she needs to be louder so everyone can hear her! :)

Craig was a great trip leader. He kept us organized, entertained, and informed. He was able to adjust the trip and hikes suitable for the conditions and circumstances.
Accommodation and Food
Loch Melfort and Port Charlotte Hotels were great. The views at Melfort were stunning. The food was also outstanding at each facility.

I telephoned the day prior to departure to ask if it was necessary to pack a hairdryer. I was advised to do so, however at the lodge we were advised not to use one as it would trip the electricity. Clearly, the person I spoke to did not know of the circumstances of that tour.
Trip Comments
I did feel that the packed lunches were not as appetising when comparing to a previous trip.

I did like the fact that we could have access to tea and coffee in the lodge.
Accommodation and Food
Considering the location, the accommodation was comfortable and homely.
Your Guide
He was very astute and had a clear understanding of people and decision making was appropriate in relation to safety due to inclement weather.
The Bottom Line
Deciding on our next trip with wilderness Scotland!

Only thing I would say is that the instructions made me prepare and pack many unnecessary items. I could have packed a lot lighter and it would have been a big help.

Ending at the Lighthouse on the beach was excellent!!!! Lunch on the beach was absolutely a great way to end the vacation.
Accommodation and Food
Accommodations were OK. The weak bed and breakfast would have been the second one although it was not bad at all.

I cannot say enough good things about our guides. Mel was absolutely wonderful. I cannot say enough about her knowledge and professionalism. An absolutely astonishing lady. Gram was absolutely great as well. He was also extremely knowledgeable, professional and great to talk to. Thumbs up to both Mel and Gram. Loved them!!!!!!!!
The Bottom Line
This was a great experience for me. I quickly realized that this was 80% mental and 20% physical. I would definitely recommend this trip.

good food and great setting

Peter was very good, great knowledge of flora and fauna exhibited, kept the group walking at the required pace. Dealt efficiently with any issues and group dynamics. Particular highligths wwere his motivational poems/talks every morning and the passion he displyed for his job and the coumtryside.
The Bottom Line
Excellent, I and my 3 walking companions will use Wilderness Scotland/Ireland again.

One final request/suggestion for the future, it would be great to be able to choose from a jacket or rucksac as the pre-trip freebie to suit individual needs, a small point I appreciate.
