Growing up on the East Coast in a small seaside town, I always had a deep desire to wander and discover places beyond the familiar. Never really knowing what I wanted to do after school, I took the plunge and spent three years backpacking through New Zealand, Australia and the U.S., hiking and biking trails, and immersing myself in the cultures I encountered along the way. After returning home, I decided to combine my passion for travel and adventure and pursue a career in the travel industry.

Favourite Place to Play

I spent a lot of time thinking the grass was greener elsewhere, venturing far and wide, leaving Scotland’s beauty unexplored. But then I discovered the Orkney Isles—and, honestly, I’m hooked. There’s something magical about the rugged landscapes, where the cliffs meet the sea and the wind whispers ancient secrets. The friendly locals make you feel like you’ve found a second home, and the remoteness of it all, is like you’re the only person on earth. It’s my favourite place to play in Scotland now, where every path leads to a new and exciting adventure.
