Customer Kudos

Every client receives a feedback survey when they return from their guided, self guided or tailor made holiday with us.

Once completed the review is published on our website just as soon as our database updates. The little touches and details are important to us and where issues are raised we make positive changes to our trips to improve your experience.

That's why we read each of our client's reviews and although we don't respond to all of them, if it's glowing feedback then we get the satisfaction of helping to make your holidays truly memorable.

Wilderness Walking - Outer Hebrides: Uists, Barra and Mingulay
I am recommending it to everyone! My Wilderness Scotland trip has literally changed my life. Just as I was about to lower the bar on my life expectations, Mark Cox and Wilderness Scotland came along and motivated me to raise the bar instead. Next time I come back I'm headed to Harris and Lewis. Thank you all!

Wilderness Walking - Wilds of Assynt
I seldom wax lyrical about travel companies, however I have nothing but praise for Wilderness Scotland. Your business model clearly works supplemented by that essential ingredient: charming, efficient and professional staff. I really enjoyed my week with you and would hope to come again !

Mountain Biking - The Hebridean Trail
My friends said "How Much?!" for a week in Scotland. I came home thinking what an absolute bargain the trip was. I'm already thinking about booking my next trip to the Hebrides or maybe a bigger challenge, the coast to coast or sea kayaking. Whichever I will be back to Scotland soon.

North West Highlands

  • North West Highlands
The North West Highlands is one of Scotland's most dramatic regions. Its' mountains are made from some of the oldest rock on the planet. Peaks rise steeply from deep glens with pristine lochs dividing the landscape. This makes the area a fantastic place for wild walking and canoe adventures.

An ancient and primeval landscape which offers dramatic peaks made of Torridonian sandstone, wooded glens and intricate lochs.

The North West Highlands has been recognised for its wild natural beauty and has recently been awarded UNESCO endorsed European Geopark status in recognition of its outstanding geology and landscape.

This area is a real favourite for canoeists, walkers and kayakers seeking to step out into the wilderness.
