Kate Masson

Mini Bio

Having grown up in the Cairngorms National Park, my love for Scotland and the adventure it provides us with began at a young age. I have always loved spending time in nature, which is why I decided to move back to the area after spending a few years living abroad in New Zealand and Austria, as well as other parts of the UK. I have been lucky enough to live in a variety of different locations, but I never feel more at peace than when I am at home in the Highlands, especially when I’m out on the hills, swimming in its rivers and lochs, or foraging in the woods.

I have worked in various jobs, including hospitality, gardening and, most recently, property services and I have always been passionate about showcasing what Scotland has to offer.

Favourite Place to Play

My favourite place to play in Scotland (outside of the Cairngorms) is the Outer Hebrides. You can’t beat the beauty of the turquoise waters and white sandy beaches (even on a wet and windy day – and there are certainly a few of those).

Not a lot of People Know This

I studied Horticulture at College and was in the Scottish final for young horticulturist of the year – I’m a real plant nerd.
