Tom Hutton

Although I have previously commented on the strengths of both guides, Tom and Heather, I would emphasize their commitment to ensuring our trip was enjoyable and never did I feel pressured to go further or faster. Both guides made sure we were safe on the road at all times. At opportune moments they shared their knowledge of the landscape and history.
Most of all they were really good hosts - always up and cheerful and made the extra effort to ensure we were having an awesome experience. 11/10 rating for both.

Graham and Tom were awesome

We had a fabulous experience. Everything was very well organised and Graham and Tom were super guides. They had a series of back up plans for if and when required and were immensely flexible. They were both extremely friendly, competent and helpful. When one of our (own) bikes had a problem they helped resolve the issue efficiently. We felt secure in their leadership and they both went the extra mile to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. The picnic on the beach in Lewis was a real treat but there were many other enjoyable and memorable experiences; they really helped us fall in love with the outer Hebrides. They were both great company and helped the group bond; we had the most lovely companions and a great time together.

All good, Tom was a very good guide, pleasant and knowledgeable.

Tom is the best tour guide ever. Seriously. Kind, knowledgeable, skilled, attentive, funny, helpful, and damned good looking. What more could you ask for?

Tom Hutton was outstanding as our guide. Not only is he knowledgeable about the area and all the sites we visited, but is just a very kind, genuine and caring person. Tom made a point to attend to the needs of each individual as well as the group. He is absolutely a joy to be around and his positive energy and fun-loving spirit made the trip that much more enjoyable. Everyone quickly bonded with Tom as we all laughed together and formed new friendships. Tom is definitely a special asset to your organization.

Tom was an extraordinary guide. He was patient, knowledgeable, fun, and kind. I would take any trip he guides in the future. His warm and friendly nature made us into more than just traveling companions; because of Tom, I'm leaving with new friends. His facility with the trails made it easy to be a novice and still feel like I got as much out of the experience as anyone else. Because of Tom, I would recommend Wilderness to anyone.

Our guides were wonderful. The trip would not have been the same without them. We appreciate how much effort they put in to making sure we were having the best time possible on our trip!

Nat and Tom were amazing. They constantly focused on us and what they could do to make our holiday full of memories. They are both extremely knowledgeable. They are also great at leading a group. They kept conversations going and they took an interest in anything we were sharing. If I was touring again I would want to know if Nat and Tom were guiding.

Tom was an excellent guide. Upon seeing that the weather was going to turn bad in Northern Wales, he drove us after dinner so that we could at least get a glimpse of Mt. Snowdon before the clouds came in. This was much appreicated.

Tom is outstanding. So knowledgeable and accommodating. He tried so hard to manage a group that had slightly different abilities. I all, the group worked well together.
