    The Ancient Tale of Beira

    Beira

One of Scotland’s most important legends, there are many versions of Beira’s story. Some say she resides in the tumultuous Gulf of Corryvreckan thoughout the Summer months. Some say she carved out our mountains with her mighty hammer!

Aviemore local, Sarah Hobbs runs a storytelling experience, Strathspey Storywalks and shares with us an authoritative version of Beira’s story.
