The former home of Lord Strathcona is set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, with an extensive 10 acres of woodlands and gardens. The grounds are lovely – the perfect place to stretch your legs and absorb the stunning views of the glen. Here you can admire the impressive Pap of Glencoe or gaze across the calm waters of Loch Leven.
Glencoe House is more than just a hotel – it is a private country house escape. Each large suite in the main house is bright and spacious with elegant period décor and fine furnishings. The suites feature a private sitting room and dining area where you will be served breakfast and if you desire, you might like to avail of its comfort and privacy and take your evening meal there as well.
All suites come with a personal ‘maxi’ bar which includes a range of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and gorgeous bathrooms featuring one or two slippers baths, perfect for kicking back and relaxing. Some suites also benefit from a ‘hot tub with a view’, enabling you to enjoy the scenery from your own private terrace.
