At Wilderness Scotland, we know that plans can change—life happens. That’s why we offer flexibility, so you can book your adventure with confidence. We can’t wait to welcome you to Scotland, and we want your travel plans to feel as seamless and stress-free as possible.

If you need to make a change, you can transfer your deposit to a new booking—whether it’s a small group trip, private departure, or custom itinerary—anytime up to 75 days before departure.

Already booked your trip but can’t travel this year? No problem—your deposit is safe with us. Simply let us know, and we’ll hold it as a lifetime deposit, ready for you to use on a future adventure whenever the time is right.

And if plans change completely? You can even pass your deposit to a friend or family member, so they can experience the magic of Scotland in your place.

We strongly recommend that all participants take out comprehensive travel insurance. It is important to check with your insurance provider to understand what your policy covers, including medical expenses, trip cancellation, and any other related disruptions.

Participation Despite COVID-19

• There are no government restrictions related to COVID-19 for joining our trips.
• Therefore, if a participant tests positive for COVID-19 but feels well enough to continue, there is no requirement for them to leave the trip or refrain from participating in any activities.
• We encourage participants who have tested positive for COVID-19 to wear masks in vehicles and shared spaces to help protect others.

Voluntary Departure Due to COVID-19

If a participant who has tested positive for COVID-19 chooses to leave the trip for any reason, they are solely responsible for all associated costs, including but not limited to transportation, accommodation, and any other expenses incurred. No refunds will be provided for any portion of the trip they do not attend.

Accommodation Changes or Early Departure

If a participant wishes to change rooms, move to a different hotel, or depart the trip early due to another participant or themselves testing positive for COVID-19, they are responsible for any additional costs incurred. This includes, but is not limited to, any new accommodation arrangements, transportation, and other related expenses. No refunds will be given for any portion of the trip they do not attend.

By booking a trip with Wilderness Scotland, you agree to these terms and conditions regarding any other illness. It is the responsibility of each participant to be aware of and accept these conditions prior to joining the trip.
