Mini Bio

From a young age, I knew that travel and exploration would play a central role in my life. Growing up in South East England, riverbanks, forests, fields, lakes, beaches, churchyards and castle ruins were my playground.

Throughout my career, I have worked in the travel and outdoor industries. In 2012, I stepped away from my desk as an adventure travel consultant and gained experience leading overland truck expeditions across Asia and Africa. This allowed me to bring together my passions for people, culture, wildlife, hiking, fishing, tracking, bushcraft, wild camping, cooking, history, geography and adventure.

Having professionally led tours across much of the world, it is an honour and a privilege to now be guiding people in my own backyard — the United Kingdom. The history, nature and folklore of this green and pleasant land are things I am deeply passionate about.

Favourite Place to Play

I love trekking and fishing in the forests and lochs of the Galloway Forest Park. It has some of the darkest skies in Europe, and wild camping on a warm summer’s night beneath them is simply breathtaking!

Not a lot of People Know This

I once did a face to face travel consultation with comedian and Hollywood actor Ricky Gervais, booking him a trip to Paris.
