What Fellow Travellers Say About Rhys

Less time could have been spent choosing from menus if more than one menu had been made available to us. This delay resulted in one deadline being missed

Our guide, Rhys, was attuned to individual's needs and to the tenor of the whole group. He supported me in tough moments on the trail.

Our guides, while green, were amazing. They took excellent care of us, a rather unruly bunch. They had lots of interesting things to share.

I could not ask for a better guide than Rhys. He was not only knowledgeable about the natural and cultural history of the areas we hiked through but also gave great advice and assistance on hiking in some terrain that was challenging for some of our members. His demeanor was always pleasant and encouraging. I would seriously consider signing up for additional Wilderness Scotland trips with Rhys as our guide.

Both guides (Reese and Alison) were great. They should both be hired again to accompany WHW groups.

Rhys was terrific! He is an expert guide, of course, but he also went out of his way to ensure that everything went smoothly and that we all felt comfortable. Apart from having a great sense of humour and thus making the hiking fun, Rhys would also know when to push us, how to create motivation, and when to schedule a break. He would look out for each and everyone of us, sense if someone needed extra care and was really involved and supportive. Everything ran very smoothly because of him. Thank you so much, Rhys!
