    Where Scotland Meets the Sea

Join us to discover stunning coastlines, sheltered sea lochs, and remote islands on a carefully crafted sea kayaking holiday. From quiet coves and coral beaches to dramatic cliffs and coastal castles, exploring by kayak offers an unforgettable way to experience some of Scotland’s most beautiful places.

Our guided tours combine rewarding days on the water with expert local knowledge and comfortable accommodation on shore. We also provide all the specialist kayaking equipment you’ll need as well as a packing list, so you can simply turn up and enjoy your time with us.

    Expert Guides, Local Knowledge

Our experienced sea kayaking guides know these coastlines intimately. They take care of route planning, weather forecasts, and all the practical details, adapting each day to the sea conditions and desires of the group. Their local knowledge also elevates every journey, from being a dab hand at spotting marine wildlife to sharing the history, heritage, and stories of the communities that call these places home.

With each day thoughtfully planned to make the most of the regions you explore, there’s time to appreciate the changing scenery, look out for seals and seabirds, and reach quiet stretches of coast that are difficult to experience in any other way.

    Handpicked Stays on Shore

All our sea kayaking trips are accommodation-based, so there’s no need to camp or carry your overnight kit. After a day on the water, return to shore for a hot shower, delicious food, and a comfortable night’s rest before the next day’s paddling.

    Trips for All Experience Levels

You don’t need to be an experienced kayaker to explore Scotland by sea. Whether you’re new to the sport or already confident on the water, we offer trips to suit different levels of experience.

If you’ve never sea kayaked before, or have only tried it a few times, our Introduction Course is a great place to start. Learn essential skills with expert guidance, build confidence on the water, and discover the enjoyment of exploring by kayak. Our Scottish Highlands trip also offers beginner-friendly paddling in beautiful surroundings. For those with previous experience, our other coastal and island trips offer opportunities to explore further afield.

With its beautiful islands, ever-changing coastlines, and diverse landscapes, Scotland is a wonderful place to explore by sea kayak. We’d love to welcome you on one of our trips and share some of our favourite places along the way.

Every client receives a feedback survey when they return from their guided, self guided or tailor made holiday with us. Once completed the review is published on our website just as soon as our database updates. The little touches and details are important to us and where issues are raised we make positive changes to our trips to improve your experience.

That’s why we read each of our client’s reviews and although we don’t respond to all of them, if it’s glowing feedback then we get the satisfaction of helping to make your holidays truly memorable.

    The Bottom Line

    The Bottom Line

I had a great time on this trip and would recommend it to anyone looking for a kayaking experience with hotel accommodation. For myself, I had previously gone on kayaking/wild camping trips (with other companies) and I think I prefer that more basic experience, but I would not rule out doing this kind of trip again. There is something to be said for a hot shower at the end of the day!
