Choosing to travel in October means choosing to travel at a time of year that promises quiet landscapes, ethereal light and amazing wildlife. In the forests, trees crackle the colour of flame and bright red rosehips decorate the hedgerows. In the wild and lonely glens, red stags begin to roar and syrupy sunshine casts a golden glow over shore, moor and mountainside. With crisp, pink mornings and evenings made for roaring fires, October makes for a magical and unique time to travel.

This trip was just brilliant - a trip of a lifetime. Everything was thought of and it ran smoothly from start to finish. Cannot fault anything at all. Top marks.
