Ross Dempster

Ross DempsterMe in 3 – Fun | adventurous | inspiring.

Place to Play – Sea Kayaking in the Summer Isles, it was my first expedition and I love the uninhabited islands and white beaches, the people and the culture.

Not a lot of people know this – I have an honours degree in philosophy and am a member of the Tayside Mountain Rescue Team.

Mini Bio – My passion lies in exploring wild places in Scotland and around the world. I have been an outdoor enthusiast my whole life from the point my Father started dragging me up hills and I grew up in Scotland learning from my experiences around the lochs, hills and glens I grew to love.

Whether it be by mountain bike, road bike, sea kayaking, skis or hiking I love taking in the scenery and sharing the experience with like minded people.

I live with my partner in crime Carol in the heart of Scotland in a small town called Aberfeldy which is surrounded by the Perthshire hills and forests; a perfect playground!

When not in the outdoors I love socialising with friends, playing the guitar, reading a good book or planning my next adventure.

Adventurer's Stories about Ross

Very impressed with their knowledge. Friendly, and fit right in with our group. Enjoyed spending time with them.
Glenn Finnell
Ross and Brian were excellent. They made out trip safe and fun. They were flexible in addressing our preferences, and worked hard to plan. They were also very knowledgable about all aspects of our experience from our events, to geological facts, and the history of Scotland. Additionally, they were very helpful when it came to things as simply as how to mail something to where to go shopping. These two made a huge difference in our experience.
Al Brower
The guides get an A+ every day.
Kirk Sawyer
Could not imagine better guides. we have done several guided trips and these were simply the best.
