      I’m a retired academic, rejuvenated climber/mountaineer/paddler/biker. I spent over 40 years caressing rock faces all over the world and never tired of it. I love sharing moments in the outdoors with others, learning about different people’s lives and admiring human nature (most) alongside nature itself. I now live in the Lake District close to my roots.

      West coast of Scotland for rock and sea (when the weather is good).

      Dan was an amazing guide! He is professional and friendly. He ensured that we enjoyed the trip - taking us to interesting & beautiful places, changing the itinerary depending on the weather, pointing out interesting facts and varying the distances so that everyone could have a great time.       Dan was great. He is knowledgeable and kind. As far as the latter, he made us all feel comfortable. I never once felt like I was too slow or clumsy. And we all laughed and teased each other a lot.
