I have been an outdoor enthusiast for 35 years, starting out rock climbing and mountaineering. I discovered mountain biking 30 years ago and have been on one ever since. I do venture onto road for training and have entered a few triathlons including the Big Ben Tri. I am passionate about leaving no trace and respecting the places I visit and travel through for future generations to enjoy.
I moved to Aviemore 2 years ago from the central belt of Scotland and often wonder why I didn’t do it years ago. The opportunities for doorstep adventures and micro adventure are endless.
Too many to mention but exploring Cairngorms by bike and the single track at Badaguish.

I have been a keen bike packer over the last few years and have run quite a few trips for adults and kids oh and made a film last year The Cairngorms are Calling. I have also road bike for training and have entered triathlons including half iron man distance like the Big Ben Tri. I have also ridden lots of sportives including the Fred Whitton
Cairngorm loop over 3 days.
Mountain biking and bikes in general.
Both Neil and Malcolm were cheerful, patient and resourceful My mountain bike skills aren’t great and I was definitely the weakest in the group but they never let that be an issue for them or anyone else. They had vast amounts of local knowledge as well as information about wildlife and the history of the islands. Couldn’t fault them.

Both Neil and Malcolm were had a wealth of local knowledge which they shared with us along the way. They were also very supportive of everyone in the group regardless of their skill level.
The made me feel safe and secure when the terrain was rough and remote.

Neil and Malcom did a great job adjusting the itinerary to the challenges they were presented. Both were very knowledgable about the environment, nature, Mountain Biking and a variety of other things. It was a joy to talk and hang out with them.
