Mini Bio
I grew up in Germany and moved to Scotland nearly 20 years ago. I’ve called places all over Scotland home, from the Orkney Islands to Edinburgh, but now the Cairngorms is home. The landscape makes sense to me here and is often friend, cure and revelation. My career incorporates hospitality management, nature-based tourism, guiding, training and outdoor education. Connecting people and place is central to all the work I do.
Place to play
The Cairngorms are my home, playground, and often a remedy for any ailments. The Perthshire woodlands are a gentle hug on an autumn day. The Orkney coastline will always have a special place in my heart.
Not a lot of people know this
I used to lead Conservation Work Parties to the remote archipelago of St Kilda for several years. Incredible place.
