    By Rupert Shanks, Chief Storyteller
    More by Rupert

World Environment Day to us means a mixture of reflection, inspiration and renewed commitment.

Being lucky enough to spend a lot of time in Scotland’s wild places, we value them very highly. This translates into our habits as a company and also our commitment to inspire our guests in the same way.

So this World Environment Day we would love to share with you three Scottish films. These go some way to explain why we do what we do when it comes to our impact on the environment.

One of our conservation partners, the John Muir Trust produced this beautiful short film showcasing Scotland’s wildest locations.

      – Locations featured include: North West Highlands and the Cairngorms

    The Wilderness Scotland approach

After winning World’s Leading Green Tour Operator we made this short film to explain what wild lands mean to us and how this drives our approach to sustainability.

Sandwood – one person’s connection to Scotland’s wild lands

This short film was made with one of our travellers – Catriona Mackenzie. Her passion and connection to Scotland’s wild lands were so inspiring to witness. Stories like hers give us reason to work harder in minimising our impact.
