Ana Norrie-Toch is a movement artist and choreographer based in Edinburgh. To escape the stress and pressure of city life, Ana has been taking to the wilds on her bike. Often travelling long, challenging journeys and camping out solo, Ana finds these experiences create a sense of peace in which she starts to move. Her movements are a communication with the landscape, with nature, and with herself. Ana wants to celebrate our wild places in Scotland and would like to inspire all of us to find our own sense of adventure.
“Being surrounded by the elements heightens your senses.
They make you focus on what is present.”
– Ana Norrie-Toch
Our women-only trips are designed to encourage more women to explore the wilds of off-the-beaten-path Scotland. Travel with like-minded women and see some of Scotland’s most interesting landscapes in a relaxed and inclusive environment.
Far from excluding people, these women-only trips have been created to include and encourage more women to build adventure confidence and partake in outdoor activities such as cycling, walking and kayaking – activities that have long been male-dominated.
