Film Series Women in the Wild: Alice

“I know what my body is capable of. I’m proud of my body for what it’s helped me to achieve…”

Wilderness Scotland colleague Alice wild swims. In fact, she wild swims pretty much every day. Even when the water is barely above freezing, Alice will be out there, in nothing but her swimsuit, hat and goggles. She may be mad but seems to just love the way it makes her feel: strong and alive.

We’ve made a short film about Alice as Episode 1 in a new film series to celebrate the launch of our range of Women Only adventure holidays. (Shot entirely within the Cairngorms National Park.) These trips are not about excluding men but hopefully encouraging more women to get out into the wilds and enjoy all the benefits it can provide.
