Every client receives a feedback survey when they return from their guided, self guided or tailor made holiday with us.

Ken is knowledgeable and organized. He adjusted hikes to weather conditions when necessary. I am not a strong hiker and Ken was encouraging and reassuring so i was able to maximize my experience.
The Bottom Line
The trips (Sutherland and Skye) which we did back to back were beautiful.

Maybe a little Facebook group could be formed or email addresses exchanged (if individuals desire) so initial introductions could be made before actually meeting to get an idea of who you'll be holidaying with
Trip Comments
Well organised with great leaders. Maybe the standard of my beginners / intermediate open canoe course was at a slightly higher level than I was expecting
Accommodation and Food
Evening meals excellent, so was breakfast in one hotel but breakfast and packed lunch in another was only average
Your Guide
Very committed and clearly experienced, not just in canoeing but in the environment we passed through. Having photos taken and supplied via an internet link was a nice touch
The Bottom Line
Above average holiday experience with expert and committed guides who will happily go the extra mile to provide a first class holiday

Service was fine except for disappearing PDF documents from WS. Other people commented on this also so the issue must be on your end.

On the Sutherland luxury tour we had three participants which made the trip almost a private one. It is good that you will do a trip with so few people.
Accommodation and Food
On the Sutherland luxury trip the two hotels were both excellent. We ate all meals in the hotels which, while great food, was somewhat repetitive. I think the trip would be improved if some meals were eaten outside of the hotels.
Your Guide
I thought our guide, Ken, was quite attentive to the needs and desires of our small group.
The Bottom Line
The trip was a good way to walk in an area of Scotland that was not known to us before. The hiking was pretty easy - in some of your literature it was rated a 2 and in some places a 3 - you need to make it clear that it is a 2.

The bike booking service seemed a little muddled with both online & offline requests that didn't seem to align

Our guides were superb & the scenery of Barra, N.Uist & S.Harris was breathtaking
Accommodation and Food
Food overall was good, with a range of excellent to acceptable
Accommodation was equally varied. Noise pollution at the Pollachar Inn being a particular concern
Your Guide
Both Simon & Will were excellent. They provided enthusiasm, clarity & humour where needed whilst managing adversity in a truly professional manner

The tipee was so good, given the foul weather.. excellent dinners, though I was glad I had taken plenty of nibbles for during paddling.

Howard and Sarah were an excellent team. Good balance of holiday and bits of instruction. Very safe in difficult weather. Good fun.

The link to the wevpage about fitness preparation for the trip was not very obvious. It took me a while to come across it.
Trip Comments
An early discussion with each member of the group, about prior experience in the main activities, would have been good.
Accommodation and Food
Accommodatiob and food were very good, as expected for the trip price.
Your Guide
As mentioned before, a conversation with each member of the group, about any prior experience in the main activities, would have been good. Also better structured instructions for absolute beginners. Some of the basic advice was given very hastily. Also challenges were not gradual. For example, launch in day two was quite challenging, but day four much easier. Most of the group coped fibe but I struggled and gave up kayaking in day two, but could have managed day four.
The Bottom Line
An enjoyable trip with a good group of guides and fellow travellers.

There were things that I did not know until I actually did the trip; that is,I could not have foreseen. That the kayak would be quite different from the kayak I had had such a good experience with in the past. Also I would not have classified this trip beginner. However if I were much younger it might have been perceived as such! Given the adjustments I had to make, apart from a lot of shoulder and arm pain I had a wonderful time. The scenery and wildlife and being on the water were an awesome experience.
Accommodation and Food
All the restaurants were excellent. Torridon inn was lovely, friendly, comfortable and with a great atmosphere.
Your Guide
I thought the way Myles and Craydon worked together was very lovely. Both were excellent.
We had, I thought, a particularly good group who were supportive and helpful and I certainly appreciated all the lifting and carrying the men did.
The Bottom Line
Ask a lot of questions about trips to make sure the level is right for you before you sign up.
